With most of its own terrain dedicated to its luxurious properties component, this is a perfect spot to visit. Its undisturbed shore, sumptuous resort and year round springtime climate provide a welcome refuge just a few travel hours from most major European cities.
This resort has seven swimming pools, some are simply for adults only and one is exclusive for Tagora Villa Guests that is additionally mature only. There really are a lovely choice of eateries here including two Michelin star eateries also. The food was always amazing and that I could not fault this at all. The children’s menu had costs that are reasonable too and was also great. We were on bed and breakfast basis and also the breakfast was superb with an enormous collection of things on offer.
Unsurprisingly, when it comes to dining options, the Abama resort has some extraordinarily good restaurants being offered. M.B – after the initials of the owner, Martin Berasategui, a gastronomic legend – was recently awarded its first Michelin star, and Pampa Verona, which joins rustic Italian and Argentinian cuisine, is also superb. Others comprise El Mirador, a thatched site sporting some of the finest views on the island and sat on the cliff edge, and Kabuki, which offers a fusion of Western and Japanese cuisine.

Get pampered at the resort, with tailor made a hydrotherapy pool, beauty treatments, wellness programs and mud baths. There is also a fully equipped health club complete with private fitness instructors.
And then there is the golf course – the crowning glory of the sumptuous hideaway. Meandering over six kilometres of magnificent terrain, the emerald course characteristics 22 lakes, a plethora of white sand bunkers and an unbelievable 25,000 palm trees, and in most places on the course you are treated to spectacular views of the Atlantic.
For kids aged 4-12 years inclusive, there is the enjoyment and experiential children’s plan “Ritz Kids”. Open daily from 10am til midnight (a nutritional supplement will likely be charged after 6pm), this touch programme includes a menu of tasks developed with Jean-Michel Cousteau’s Ocean Futures Society to provide interactive learning experiences predicated on Land, Water, Culture and Environment. Actions incorporate a selection of theatrical and crafts, arts and sporting activity. The children’s play place is enormous, covering over 300sqm of outdoor and indoor space, with play zones that are varied. The Ritz Kids facilities may be used by children under four so long as an adult accompanies them.
